I am an experienced player looking for someone who is very consistent/steady, and interested in playing points. So anyone man or woman who fits this description, and is interested get in touch. If you can play during the day for more than an hour that would be ideal. In fact the courts are very open at riverside from 12noon to 3pm, of course hottest time of day but I am looking for someone who is interested in a serious hit. If you are not familiar with the riverside courts or the NYC public courts in general, you will need to have a tennis permit to sign up for court time. You should be roughly a 4.5 player or better.

Can anyone refer a decent organized weekend Basketball league
for my 9 year old son to take part in beginning sometime in
September? My son's current league ends in early
August and I am trying to find something in the City
(Prefer Manhattan but will travel elsewhere) that will begin
shortly after and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
I would really appreciate any information that can help
lead me in the right direction

*** Check out www.urbanescapesnyc.com or contact maia@urbanescapesnyc.com for more details ***

Looking to do something a little different with your weekend (or in this case, Monday)? Our Breakneck Ridge hike is that and more! While not for the faint of heart, this day trip traverses several peaks west of the Hudson offering stunning vistas of the Catskills, the Shawangunk Mountains, and the entire Hudson Valley. Several rugged, scrambling ascents are sure to leave you with a huge smile - and sore legs - at the end of the day.

We'll depart Manhattan at 8:30 am on Monday morning and drive to the trailhead. After a few hours of hiking with plenty of photo ops and water breaks, we'll stop for a mountaintop lunch at an old fire-lookout tower where you will enjoy a 360 degree view of the Hudson Valley. After this welcome recharge, we'll continue our hike with more climbs & descents and more fantastic views. Plan to be completely tuckered out by the time we get back to the city on Monday evening!

Cost: $55
Included in this trip: transportation, permits, licensed guides
What you need to bring: well broken-in hiking boots or sturdy sneakers, a small day pack, lunch and snacks, 3 liters of water (seriously)

he musical was first seen at the New York Theatre Workshop in 1994. On January 26, 1996, Rent opened in New York City off-Broadway before moving to Broadway's Nederlander Theatre on April 29, 1996.[4] Rent has been successful on Broadway, where it had critical acclaim and word-of-mouth popularity. With more than 5000 performances, it is the seventh-longest-running Broadway show,[5] and the production has grossed over $280 million.[6] It became the second-longest-running musical currently on Broadway, eight years behind The Phantom of the Opera, when Beauty and the Beast ended its run on July 29, 2007.
In 2005, Rent was also adapted into a motion picture that features most of the original cast members. Certain plot elements were changed slightly, and some of the songs were changed to spoken dialogue. This movie features Rosario Dawson as Mimi and Tracie Thoms as Joanne. The original Mimi, Daphne Rubin-Vega was pregnant at the time they were making the movie. The original Joanne, Fredi Walker was offered the role, but thought she was too old to play the part.

I needed some help getting myself back into a fitness routine. I just started working out with Ray about 2 months ago, and it has really changed my life. I have more energy and endurance throughout the day and I'm happier as well. I usually get bored very easily when it comes to working out, but Ray incorporates new exercises into every workout that make it interesting and challenging for me. I am a waitress and I take some classes which gives me a very odd schedule, but Ray is able to work around that to fit in our sessions every week and is very reliable when it comes to communication on this. The best part (besides my new rockin body) is that he doesn't let me cheat myself and motivates me through the workout. If you want to get in shape and make a change in your life, I would definitely recommend On The Go Fit.

I have been working with Ray at On the Got Fit for only two months, and I'm already in the best shape of my life! His varied work-outs and diet tips created immediate results, and most importantly I have fun doing it. He also works around my hectic work schedule in investment banking by coming to the gym in my apartment building very early in the morning and adjusting our schedule from week to week based on my travel schedule. I originally planned to hire Ray to get in shape the few months leading up to my wedding, but with the success so far I don't plan on stopping there!

When I first started working out with Ray, I’d just had my second child and I was flabby, sleep-deprived, out of shape, and worried I’d never find the motivation to get my old body back. I started a workout regime reluctantly, but found to my surprise that it was actually kind of fun. Ray doesn’t just focus on weights and cardio and stretching – he also helped me find the motivation to overhaul my diet and start taking better care of myself. I’ve only been at this a few months, but I’m already starting to get my old body back. More importantly, I have more energy, I’m happier, and I’m a better wife and mother because of it. It sure beats Prozac!!

I've been working out with Ray at the On The Go Fit for over five years. He's amazing! His workouts are fun and challenging - and his style is encouraging and motivating! He incorporates endurance, strength and core training and flexibility exercises to give your body a complete workout. You'll be jumping rope and squatting on one leg before you know it. I would definitely recommend On The Go Fit for anyone looking for a great personal training experience.

That's right, it's true, I was a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional-1 (United States Professional Tennis Association). I taught tennis throughout NYC: in private tennis clubs, private schools, colleges and universities and with over 20 years of tennis teaching experience I can guarantee that you will be learning all the proper strokes, techniques and strategies required to play to your full potential.

Here's the catch, I am looking for a "model type" girlfriend: I'd like to hear from you if you are single, bet. 30-40, 5'5"-5'7"/100lbs.-120lbs., you have no jealous ex-husband or ex-boyfriend stalking you and you are open to dating me.

Please reply with a recent photo and a little bit about yourself. Thanks.
