Hi. I am looking to hire someone to make us a stencil.
Stencil will be about 12 to 18 inches square. Need two to four of them.
Will be using them to paint image on to wall around room.
Should probably be done in plastic type material, or oaktag may be sturdy enough if you agree.

WE have a drawing, that is simple lines and shapes that show a medallion from some architecture. We need someone to do three or four things with this drawing.
1. add "cuts" to it so that it will actually make a suitable stencil
1.a. discuss/review with us so we all agree looks good.
2. make a second stencil that will look like the reverse image
2a. same review
3. buy the supplies to make the stencil (plastic of some type from art supply store I guess)
4. cut out the stencils.
5. get paid.

Happy to pay a deposit up front.

You must have skills with exacto knife and be able to show me that in your response. For example you are trained as a architect, drafting, design, or worked in those fields, and have done this before.
A scentence or two will be fine. a paste of your resume is nice but certainly not needed. Not really relevant, mostly want to know that you can do this work, and are availble and interested.

This is a new company looking to acquire a collection of artists.
If you are interested, at first I will ask you for some specific samples. You need to be able to draw realistic portraits/illustrations for children's books. I will supply you with a photo and lines from the story. If it's what I'm looking for I will include it and you in my sample book, which I will use to attract clients.
Once the sample book is collected you should be able and willing to make up to 16 simple illustration/sketches for $150 - $200.

The style of illustrations should be simple/sketchy line drawings with touches of color. Nothing fancy. But classic and tasteful. Not terribly time consuming. Our client, an online media buying and planning agency, is in need of a smart, analytical online media buyer. The Media buyer will support efforts to create a new line of business using price model arbitrage and consumer retargeting. The network will buy inventory on a CPM (cost-per-thousand impressions) basis, and make revenues based on a CPA (cost-per-acquisition) basis, reducing the risk of the inventory for advertisers (who are only paying for success), and absorbing the associated risk itself. The network will make money on the difference between the CPM it pays publishers and the "effective CPM" (eCPM) it will charge advertisers through commissions it earns. To retarget consumers, the media buyer will create and optimize campaigns, managing them in the DART ad serving/targeting tool.

Responsibilities:
-Assist executive team in setting up initial tests in Q4 2009, with a plan to roll out in Q1 2010.
-Create and execute strategy to test media arbitrage concept, including modeling out assumptions.
