WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Establishing creative goals and delivering strategic solutions to meet creative and business objectives
Communicating and pitching clear ideas and creative concepts to senior leadership team and stakeholders
Partnering closely with marketing strategy in the development and execution of campaigns ensuring the profitability and creative quality of projects
Managing external resources, including freelancers, contractors, third party creative agencies and vendors when needed
Building a culture of calculated risk-taking, which accepts and learns from both wins and losses
Fostering a culture with a sense of urgency that pushes innovation and accelerates expected outcomes
Striving for innovation by actively seeking out new design trends, experiences and technology
Mentoring, leading and inspiring creative vision for designers, artists and writers
Commiting to the professional development of the creative team
Continually evaluating and monitoring the Company's branding and its place in the competitive marketplace in order to guide its evolution
Partnering with marketing and merchants to anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plan
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor's degree in Fine or Applied Arts or equivalent experience
8+ years director-level creative role in design, editorial, photography, film or related creative field
8+ years leadership experience working with large-scale marketing and/or advertising agencies
Understanding of retail merchandising
Ability to inspire others and demonstrated experience managing and leading large teams
Proven track record of leading projects from concept to completion, applying best practices with the ability to prioritize and creatively problem-solve
Ability to design under constraints and stay current with changing technology
Ability to think strategically and stay on top of execution
Strong knowledge of fashion editorial, photography, design and video/film
Ability to supervise, train and mentor employees, including organizing, prioritizing and managing timelines
Demonstrate relentlessly high standards, fostering passion, integrity and energy
Ability to analyze and apply data for metrics-driven results
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a high degree of collaboration and influence
