I only want/need 4-8 clients at any given time, and it allows me to focus on what I enjoy doing (training and figuring out better ways to meet YOUR goals). Also, I will NEVER, EVER, EVER say things likes "Get the best abs of your life in 3 weeks!" or "Two months to your perfect summer body!" Besides being asinine, there are other reasons never to get trapped into hiring people who say those things:
A) Any sedentary individual (someone who doesn't work out) who starts ANY fitness program at all will see gains for up to 3 months. I can make you hop up and down on one foot and sing the alphabet for half an hour a day and, if you weren't exercising before, you WILL have better abs and less fat. After 3 months, inefficient workouts stop working, people get tired of them, and go back to a sedentary lifestyle... until the next fad guru has a 3 month plan for them.
B) Why would you want a "summer body" anyway? Wouldn't you rather look and feel your best year round? Even trainers swear that you only need to "work hard" for 6 months before you reach a point where you can "maintain" your body, possibly because they don't have programs, or the knowledge, to continue seeing improvements for longer. Gains DO add up over months and years of working out consistently.
C) People who promise you anything (great abs, giant arms, huge reductions in fat) are, almost without exception, trying to steal your money. Look at all the fad exercise equipment that has hit the stores, or infomercials, over the years. If it all worked we wouldn't need new "advanced equipment" every few months. The bottom line is that all of our bodies are different. You can't do Hugh Jackman's workout and magically look like him, nor can you replace your body type with Selma Hayek's. We can only be our best selves, and any promise of anything else is a lie.
The real 300 Spartans didn't have cool plate loaded chest press machines. Take a look around your local gym, and look at the people using 2lb weights and doing nothing but treadmill walking/jogging and using weird machines... now look at the people, men and women, using free weights and doing hard cardio. Which ones would you rather look like/being able to perform like/have the confidence of? We've been fooled into thinking that weights make us "bulky" (they don't) and that all we need to lose weight is tons of repetitive cardio (totally inefficient).
I have deals with a few gyms all over town I can rent space out of, and I also offer in home/in private apartment gym training, and "training camp" sessions in the park. I've coached football for the past three years, and the type of intense cardio and muscular endurance we do there is a nice way to break up treadmill sessions.

These lessons are designed to help you improve your communication of spoken American English.
An "accent" is made up of three elements: pronunciation, intonation and liaison. After an informal conversation and word drill, we would find the specific areas that you need to focus on.
There are 44 English phonemes (or sounds). Proper pronunciation of all of these sounds is important for the quality and understandability of your speech. Through specific detailed guidance and instruction of what the mouth (the lips, teeth, tongue, and throat) does to make these sounds (and a mirror so you see that you're doing it right), we will make sure you can say each sound clearly, and then reinforce the sound through word and sentence drills.
Intonation is the "music" of American English and without it, your speech is likely to sound very short or choppy to American listeners. We will do drills to reinforce your understanding of intonation. Americans use what is called a staircase or peak and valley intonation. Like notes in a musical scale, our pitch goes up on important points, and then works its way down as we speak. Much of the understanding of intonation will come from practice, so we will devote time to conversation so you are able to come to an understanding of intonation using your own words.
Liaison is the manner in which we connect words in sentences. Like intonation, it is necessary to make your communication sound smooth. We will look at exactly how this is done in speech. American speakers often say entire sentences with all of the words run together, never breaking the sound. We will look at sentences written out phonetically (as sounds) instead of as letters, to understand what the speech really sounds like. Many times it sounds quite different from how it is written.
Intonation and liaison will aid greatly in making your speech more efficient. Often times non-native speakers take too much time to say unimportant words, such as "a, the, of, from, to..." They have learned well how to say the words clearly, but no teacher has ever explained to them how words are shortened in speech. We will look at how many words are reduced, so they can be said quickly, but without ever sounding rushed.
Informal conversation between us occurs at every lesson to be certain that our work is becoming integrated into your speaking. I encourage students to bring in samples of business-specific dialogues they may have. We will make sure to also paraphrase these dialogues so nothing will ever sound rehearsed, but will maintain a natural feel.

In terms of the preparation, my method is to focus both on the techniques needed to approach each question type and on the underlying content being tested in each section (which are the 2 keys to conquering the GRE). Another major part of what I do is to coach clients on the specific strategies needed to master the computer adaptive nature of the test, an extremely important but often overlooked part of GRE preparation (and an issue that I begin to cover in the first session). By reviewing actual practice tests with my clients I am able to help them improve the way they approach and manage each section.
