FNMA/FHA Processor
Continental Home Loans, Inc. is an established HUD-approved lender with over 25 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. We lend on a national level with our corporate office located in New York. We have a strong expertise in FNMA/FHA lending, of which has been our concentration for a quarter of a century. We are currently seeking a full time FNMA/FHA Processor to work in our Valley Stream, NY office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years processing FNMA/FHA loans.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Process and complete FNMA/FHA mortgage loan files.
• Verify all documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Package loan files to investor requirements.
• Obtain required stipulations from borrower, guiding loans from origination through closing.
• Maintain communication with loan officers on all programs and the status of loans.
• Based upon underwriting decision, finish processing for loan closing or mail adverse action notice to borrowers.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
• 2 years experience processing FNMA/FHA loans.
• Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local codes, laws, and regulations.
• Loan Origination Systems skills highly preferred (Encompass)
• Demonstrated communication, telephone and organizational skills.
