We are seeking a highly skilled Macintosh and Windows IT consultant.

Job Description: We are an IT consulting company based in Manhattan with clients spread around the NYC metro area. This particular position would involve a primary client in Northern NJ that needs an on-going systems administrator with Macintosh technology expertise to manage the internal technological functions of the company. We are also looking for someone who in addition to Macintosh expertise has experience working with Open Directory/Active Directory integration, along with Windows Server support and administration. The position includes planning, implementing and testing technology upgrades and new deployments to support for our various small and medium sized business clients. General employee technology support of common desktop applications and concepts required. You will be working with a team of support engineers who will be able to back you up in case of vacation, illness, or other absence, but the clients who work with you will be your primary clients.

With both major long term goals and daily maintenance and support needs, we are looking for a full-time employee with an exceptional degree of responsibility, organization, and personality. You are going to be guiding our NJ client through their growth but also assisting our other clients in planning out their IT goals and needs.

Experience Required: 2 or more years of IT responsibility in a corporate or consulting environment. Extensive experience with Mac OS X Client, Mac OS X Server, common business applications and general networking concepts. Independent troubleshooting and resolution skills. Programming skills a plus. For larger tasks, must excel at managing long term projects.
