It is a double room (more than big enough for 2 people) with a great view of our backyard, which has a view of the NYC skyline. NO kidding, it's actually amazing. That room is going for $800 but it's negotiable depending on your circumstances. PSE&G is included in the rent and the only additional money you'd have to pay is cable, which comes out to $35 a month (I use Verizon Fios for internet/cable). There is also street parking readily available and our backyard area has 2 parking spots reserved specifically for our apartment, so if you have a car or are interested in bringing your car up, you can have the other parking spot for free. Move-in date is Dec. 1 or as early as possible. Lease runs til April 1 but is also negotiable month to month afterward. The apartment is a 20 minute walk to the Hoboken PATH station (which I take every morning) or a 5 minute walk to the 9th street lightrail station which takes you to the Hoboken PATH in 2 stops. This is a beautiful 850 Sq.Ft. 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom apt located inside "The Foundry".
Literally located across the Liberty Park Light Rail parking lot. 4 stops away from Exchange Place Station where you can take the PATH into Manhattan (1 stop to WTC).
The commute averages a little over 30 minutes at peak hour when the trains are quite frequent - every 5-7 minutes. The light rail stops running at 1am but you can take the PATH to grove street and get a cab home for around $5. This is a perfect location if you work downtown and you get so much space. The pictures below don't do justice to the spaciousness that this unit provides.
The proximity to the park is the best thing about this apt. I find myself going there pretty much every day. Also, its a 10 minutes walk to Zeppelin hall, the beer garden which provides for some good nights out.
I moved in here with my girlfriend about a year ago. We need to move out because we broke up.
The apt is perfect for a couple or even to share among two people. The kitchen has new appliances. There's washer and dryer. The rent also includes your own marked parking spot - very secure. There's a guard on duty at the front desk most hours of the day.
If you feel the rent is too high, I would consider covering $100-150 of the first couple months rent since I really need to move out. I'd be willing to pay you this amount up front for the number of months that we decide upon. So that would come out to $1500 a month for this really nice place!! I paid $1800 a month all last year, the rent went down to $1650/month this year and I'm willing to cover some of it, making it even cheaper for you.

There is also a shuttle service that will take you to the grove street path station in about 15 - 20 minutes. Takeover my lease from Dec 1st until March 31 ( for only $1800 per month). This apartment was originally $2200 per month but I pay a little bit less because I got a deal. It would be even better if you could just sign a new lease with the landlord (rather than sublet from me). If you did this, I would be willing to pay $800 towards your first month's rent.
