I am 22. Guitar and Vocals.

Looking for musicians who would be interested in STARTING a rock band. Just quality rock music. Adrenaline. Commitment. Excitement.

I write and have lots of material recorded.

Also, I have no preference toward musicians who either care to write or have no intention of writing beyond simple contributions. The most important thing is THE TEAM.
Now that said, I personally, would like to meet people who are DETERMINED to make a career of this over anything else in life (Girlfriend, family, ANYTHING. Are you willing to let it all go?)

Thats the one thing, if you are not completely DETERMINED to make a career as a musician in a band, we will not mesh and we both would have been better off not wasting each others time.

This ad is intended for DISCIPLNED musicians only. I do not know how people put up with these fairies that wait for the "inspiration to come to them" instead of going out and working towards getting it. How do these morons intend to run the ranks with the biggest names on the circuit? By waiting ?! You can always be doing something, always. These people just don't want it badly enough. They dismiss themselves and choose not to push beyond their pain or comfort barrier.
Basically, they are musicians(self proclaimed musicians) who do not understand what being in a serious band is about - LIFE. These people will undoubtedly fail, which is precisely why I appreciate commitment.

If you do not care to push youself and the band to its absolute maximum potential every time, you were not meant to be part of this.
On the other hand, if you do care to push as hard as you can day after day and NEVER quit, the dream can become reality.

I repeat, if you want this badly enough, it can and will happen. If you share my philosohpy and have the presence of mind necessary to understand true devotion, this WILL happen.

If you can actually play your instrument and you do share this philosophy, you're most of the way there.

I play keys and sing, Mark plays the drums. We have a 24 hr lockout in Union City, right over the Lincoln Tunnel in NJ. We are very serious about what we do and have toured extensively with our old band. We have a ton of new material and are looking to hit the road full-time Feb 1st. We have good contacts, and I'm starting to book shows now. We are seeking a true lead guitar player and a bass player. If you can sing, that's a huge plus. If you are the right fit, we will rehearsing hard and often over the next few months and you must be able to tour. If you're in school or not sure what your career is, don't contact me. I'm a team player, reliable musicianship skills, solid chops (a lot of chop aren't needed for cover tunes as much as the right feels), large vocabulary of time feels. Great gear, pro attitude, get the job done, serve the gig and the crowd type of drummer. For the right situation, I can commit to light rehearsal schedules as well as heavier rehearsing (and additional rhythm sectionsals) out from the get go to get sets running. What I play very well is improvised music, progressive styles, latin, jazz, funk, top 40 dance, and broadway styles. I strive to play all styles honestly, faithfully, and drive the dance floor (if there is one). When appropriate - I love to progress music forward with mathy implications, interactive playing, creatives tones, and the unexpected. Again I'm looking to join a band that is working or has serious potentials lined up (I do understand it's tough to commit to a series of gigs w/o a complete lineup). To clarify, when I say "working" I at least mean bands/situations get frequent properly paying gigs (my apologies if that offends anyone but I'm looked for those who are more professional minded).
