My client, a company located in central New Jersey, is looking to hire a Sr. Bridge Design Engineer. The ideal candidate should have the following:
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineer
- 10+ Years experience
- PE license required (Professional Engineer)
- Working knowledge of Autocad & Microstation
JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidate will be supervising a team of Designers and drafters to provide Bridge designs; for the NJ Department of Transportation (DOT). Strong knowledge of Autocad & Microstation designs to perform, and help others supply correct documents. Preferably a NJ Professional Engineer license (PE) would be needed, licenses from NY, CT, PA, DE, would be considered as long as there is strong working knowledge of NJ DOT regulations and guidelines for Bridge design. Great communication and organization skills are a must, candidate will be reporting to the Department head of Bridge Design on project status.
Work schedule: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (OT may be required on certain projects)
