Our company is looking for a Business Analyst to join a growing, business-focused commodity team to work closely with traders, plant operations, and various agricultural groups to enhance the current US commodity platform. The role will involve building and maintaining relationships with banks/investment groups along with product producers and end-market users as well as researching and providing inputs to the executive level.
Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst along with a background in international supply chain management and will be responsible for the following:
Prepare monthly country report on 10 U.S. businesses including financial analysis and qualitative summary
Prepare market studies on possible target U.S. businesses
Update president of U.S. operations on micro and macro developments on existing and target businesses
Financial analysis, research and develop market data for U.S. M&A manager
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or statistics
Relevant experience as a business analyst (market studies, M&A/corporate finance preferred)
Highly proficient in financial modeling and MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
Fluency in Spanish preferred
