SEEKING A BI-LINGUAL INVESTOR RELATIONS ANALYST IN CT

Institutional Marketing Services (IMS) is a full service financial communications firm that specializes in partnering with growing public companies to properly align them in the public markets and deliver enhanced reach and new stakeholders. IMS is headquartered in New Canaan, CT.

We are seeking to build out our Asian practice and are looking for someone part time (initially 5-7 hours per week) to join our team of seasoned finance and communications professionals. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Mandarin and English, and interested in exposure to the Investor Relations profession. Much of the initial responsibility will be translating material and reaching out by email and phone to Chinese based companies with primary listings in the U.S. Given the time difference, this can be done in the evenings U.S. time.

The position would particularly suit someone who has:

An ability to write clearly about complex business issues over a variety of industries
Strong research and analytical abilities
An understanding of financial statements
Some knowledge of the capital markets
Strong aptitude with PowerPoint and Excel
Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese
