Westport, CT, home available for summer rental, June 1 thru mid-October (possibly available for Memorial Day). My home sits on a beautiful shaded acre, with lovely trees, steps from the prestigious Fairfield Hunt Club and just minutes by car to Burying Hill Beach, Sherwood Island, Compo Beach, Longshore Country Club, sailing, theatre, shopping, and all of Westport's offerings. Quiet area -- no I-95 or Merrit Parkway noise, no train noise, no motorcycle noise, no excessive traffic. Close to everything, on Mini Bus route for NYC commuters, yet a very peaceful place to enjoy your summer.
Home is pretty and pleasant inside and well-maintained (approx. 3,200 sq.feet). Ground floor has large living room, family/tv/piano room, traditional dining room, eat-in kitchen and bathroom with shower, plus additional powder room. Ground floor also has bedroom suite with room with king bed, adjoining backroom (could be used as 4th bedroom) and bathroom with shower. Second floor has two large bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with a double and twin) and full bathroom with tub/shower. Air conditioning throughout plus attic fan. (Home actually stays fairly cool without "air" during the summer.) Very private flagstone patio with gas grill faces on large back yard surrounded by mature plantings. Large finished basement with washer/dryer. Attached garage with electric door opener.
House is fully furnished: linens, kitchen, even beach chairs (!), etc., etc., and so forth! Just bring your suitcase.
