My personal life history enables me to offer something else to families that is special. I was born and raised in Poland and then spent over 20 years in Italy, and have now lived in this country for seven years. I offer the best of three cultures in terms of teaching languages, culture, and food � I am a great cook. I have found that this diverse life experience can add to the lives of children as well as the elderly.

I have worked with three families in this country. I believe that the most indicative measure of employer satisfaction is often how they treat you. In my most recent position, my employer gave me a free trip to Poland as she knew I had not seen my family in years. This meant a great deal to me not just because I treasured the time with my relatives but also because of what it said about how much I was valued. This same employer also gave me tickets to an exclusive fashion show in Manhattan � the tickets were even for a sky box. My employer new that my sister is a designer in Italy and that I have a fashion store on Ebay. She knew that this would be a wonderful experience for me and it was. I do not expect or require anything of this nature � I share it simply as an indication of how my families respond to me.

Prior to this most recent position I worked for three years for a family that had not only children but three large dogs and two cats. Again, my job, and my goal, was to manage this home not just do specific tasks. This difference is very important to me.

My first position in this country was working for a woman who had a much older husband with a very serious cardiac condition and very limited mobility. A special diet was critical, food and medicine had to be monitored, and trips in the car had to be done carefully and gently. Perhaps most important was ensuring that there was some �life� in this environment. This is where �pet therapy�, sharing of culture and language � and anything else I am capable of offering enables me to give as much as I can. For example, as indicated above, I have an Ebay store and have taught those I work with everything from basic computer skills to advanced usage of Ebay.

With regard to children, and all of your needs, you should know that I have an extremely high energy level. I am mature and professional - 47 years old - but have the ability to keep up with children � and anyone else. I am 5 feet ten inches, 145 pounds � and I just had a physical and was told I was in �excellent� physical condition.

I am excited to find another situation where I can take a global and holistic approach to making a family�s life easier, richer, and more enjoyable.

MY PREFERENCES: Although I am flexible, I prefer to work in upper Fairfield County - i.e. Fairfield, Easton, Trumbull, Shelton, and Westport. My preferred time range is anywhere from 10 am to 8 pm. I also prefer to work with children 7 years and older as this range fits with my prior knowledge and experience.

My name is Jessie, I'm 23 and a senior at UConn Stamford, and I'm looking to do some part-time babysitting (to supplement my regular nanny job during the week). My availability is as follows: Tuesday and Thursdays until approx. 2pm, all day Friday, and weekend days/evenings (2 Saturday nights a month). I can start immediately, if needed.

I have a thousand years of babysitting experience (all ages, but my most recent work has been primarily with infants) and can provide recent, local references. I have a clean driving record and a good sturdy car, so depending on the situation, I can pick up and drop off as needed, or do trips to the library/park/etc. I take a fairly laid-back approach to childcare, and kids generally respond really well to me--I'm good with age-appropriate activities, and I like to have fun, play games, or just hang around and be silly.

I'm cool with doing some light housework in addition, if needed--folding a load of laundry or unloading the dishwasher during naptime, stuff like that. I charge the standard $15 an hour for older kids, $13 for infants.

i am 21 years old and i love children a lot!!! I used to work as an Au pair for 1 year in Ridgefield and then another 9 months as a Nanny. My duties as a Nanny included light housecleaning (vacuuming, keep the house neat, clean kitchen..)doing laundry for the entire family, cook fresh food every day for children WITH vegetables, drive children around, fruits as snacks, take long walks on main street or weir farm, take children to the park and have a picnic there, sing, dance, read books , go swimming and many other things.
i enjoy having children around me very very much!!!

The pay for live in would be $1600/ month ($400 a week) and for live out $2500/month which includes 40 hours of work during the week. You have to be a bit flexible and be willing to work around my school schedule. school should be only on 2 mornings/evenings a week and maybe saturday. A nanny car is required and a cell phone at least for the first couple weeks.
