New York based Retail Chain looking for experienced Bookkeeper to work in Midtown Office

Position reports directly to Owner to counsel on budgets, planning, reporting and control.
MUST have store retail experience.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile all bank accounts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Manage and process approximately 30-50 invoices per week
- Cash flow management and projection
- Analyze statistical data and overall business and advise Owner
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end closings P & L statements
- Communication with vendors
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll
- Assist with inventory analysis and control
- Prepare quarterly and annual review with outside accountant
- Manage assistant bookkeeper
Requirements:
- 2+ years Multi-store retail experience
- Proficiency of QuickBooks Pro, Excel and all other Microsoft Office Products a must
- Excellent communication, written and negotiating skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Exceptional organization, time management and prioritizing skills
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and retail forecasting
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure
- Positive attitude and strong work ethics
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial setting
