We have this really cool jsp framework we call 'webe411' and we need someone to learn the code and be its maintainer moving forward. We use it all the time but the programmer who wrote it no longer works with us.

Right now we have an urgent problem with it that perhaps you can fix for $100: We are
trying to convert from Tomcat 4 to Tomcat 6 and it is taking us too long.

This framework uses nested jsp files to provide GUI-like controls for editing data.
For example textField, textArea, radioButton, submitButton.

Each control is associated with a java class in the package 'wt.core',
and a jsp file in the directory wtresources/controls.

We get an error on every one of these 'leaf' jsp files, because its name comes
out as jsptag:controlName.jsp instead of wtresources/controls/controlName.jsp.

(1) Tomcat starts successfully,
Login via JDBC Realm is successfull.
The webe411 configuration WEB-INF/webe411.xml is read succssfully.
Cayenne starts up and successfully logs into posgres.
Application successfully finds logged in user in database
The top level jsp, AppModelView.jsp is rendered, but hits an
exception on every webe411 control.

(2) There is no evidence that the webe411.tld is being read.
In fact, it seems that the 'wt' prefix is not being mapped.
The webe411 control jsp file names are being mangled.
Each webe411 control causes an exception like this one:
javax.servlet.ServletException: File /jsptag:textField.jsp Not Found
at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.serviceJspFile (JspServlet.java:319)
which seems to actualy originate in webe411:
com.dss.exception.SystemException Error including jsp tag file: jsptag:textField.jsp
at wt.tags.Subview.includeView (Subview.java:124)

I would expect that the file name should be: wtresources/controls/textField.jsp,
but I don't know how that would be determined. The control is designated in the
jsp source as

(3) The mapping of the wt prefix should be effected by the following line from
AppModelView.jsp: <%@ taglib uri="webe411" prefix="wt" %>

Given that we have the following in web.xml:

webe411
/WEB-INF/webe411.tld

The webe411.tld associates a class in wt.tags with each tagname.
Since the exception seems to occur in one of these classes, I
suppose the tld is being read successfully.

I suppose my next step will be to read the wt.tags source code
to see how the file name is found.

I have a website I am working SEO on. It has 5000+ pages. The site is indexed great in yahoo, which shows all the pages in the site explorer. Our yahoo traffic is higher than google b/c of this. In google we only show about 400 pages indexed. I have created an xml sitemap and uploaded it to google, built links, etc but nothing yet as far as indexing of additional pages after weeks of work. I feel it's preventing us from gaining better ground in organic rankings signficantly in google. Only the pages that are showing in google as indexed are producing traffic, so the page count is accurate under the site:mysite.com function.

I will pay $100 to the person who can look at the site, provide us with recommendations to fix this problem, we impliment those recommendations, AND we see it works, and we see at least 1000 of our 5000 pages indexed as a result of the changes within 60 days. I will pay you as soon as I see that change in the # of indexed pages shown under the site:mysite.com function in google. I will pay you another $100 if we see at least 4000 pages indexed within 60 days.

Email for the website url and you can take a crack at it! This could be the fastest $100 or $200 you make if you are an SEO expert. I have been doing SEO for years and can't figure this out so please don't respond unless you have an idea of what you are talking about. :)

The header in the theme has jquery built in but it is causing a conflict when I try to install plugins which also use jquery. I've tried putting jquery into no conflict mode but the issue is not fixed.

I have a git repo I need to move from one server to another.

Origin Server: gentoo linux and git + gitweb
Destination Server: centos 5.3 + git + gitweb

I've got the majority of it configured, but can't quite seem to get the remainder (troubleshooting) done considering I'm not a developer, thus have no use for git personally. This should be a straight forward troubleshooting project (it's a virgin install so there's nothing messy about it on the new server).

You make it work and move the git repos over.

I've already installed and verified that httpd (with webdav) is working. git rpms working. (git-daemon is running, but I'm not sure if I did it right).

If you know what you're doing, this should take no time. I'd just rather not sit there and figure it out for hours.. (I got bored). If you have no experience doing this, please don't bother applying. Please have a very good understanding of English and a telephone number you can be reached at.

PASS Data to Remote Server without server side scripting (NYC)

Current Situation
There are Two (2) servers. Server 1: Backend Server � PHP. Server 2: Client Side Server.
I will be posting pages on (Server 2) that contains forms. These forms will change periodically. When the form(s) are submitted, I cannot update the entire page, only portions (Ajax Needed). I need the data that is captured through these forms to be sent to (Server 1) for processing.
Additional Information (Non negotiable):
1. (Server 2): No Server Side scripts can be placed on this server � options are only html/xhtml, css, javascript etc.
2. (Server 2): Avoid iFrames.

Strong Preferences:
Solve this using jQuery and JSON (or propose a better solution and why).

What I need:
Two (2) Pages, one for the client side, and one for the server side. Client side should have a form that has a text field and a submit button. Upon submission of form, data should be sent using Ajax to the remote script. The remote script should accept the data, store the data in a PHP variable. It should also return to the client side script that it was successful.
My Background:
I am a seasoned web application developer with not enough time to handle everything on my plate. I am looking for someone that understands the current problem and has a solution that they can implement right away.

I am paying a flat fee to solve this (you tell me).

Testing
