Our business has both online and offline levels of engagement– but you would be working with a rockstar – a seasoned online rockstar that is well versed in all facets of online marketing.
If you come work for this incredible start-up nonprofit you’ll learn all about community building, and then work to engage and grow our community about the latest issues affecting at risk youth including education, government, job placement and the fashion industry. Yes – we teach students enrolled in our program the ins and outs of the fashion world – so trust me; you will be learning lots all while having fun!
Internship Description
As a start-up, we are a fast-paced, learning and growing environment. We work on multiple projects in order to grow all sides of our business, and we use appropriate tools and techniques to help those projects succeed.
We expect a social media intern to assist with key elements of social media strategy and implementation, including:
• Social media engagement: Enticing, provoking, and otherwise engaging our community on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
• Blogging management and engagement: assisting in the writing and editing of posts, responding to comments, and helping grow and manage our internal community of bloggers.
• Monitoring blogs, social media accounts, and other streams of information to learn of local, national, and international events and innovations in the industries we’re targeting.
Currently this position is not paid, but there is opportunity to grow within our company.

Candidate Requirements
• Basic or extensive knowledge of social media outlets and how to use them (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
