Hello! I am looking for someone to sublet my lovely, sunny 1 bedroom in a 2 bedroom townhouse for the summer starting June 15th through August 20th. I am also willing to rent to anyone who wants it for July through August only.
I live in a safe, friendly and very quiet neighborhood. The room is large and fully furnished, including a bed, desk, television and dresser. The subway is 3 blocks away (F train). It is an easy 30 minute train ride to Manhattan. The apartment is within walking distance to Prospect Park--or a short bike ride. There is a grocery store, bodegas, restaurants, a laundry place and local gym 2 blocks away. My roommate is female, works for a non-profit, 28, and very nice and easy to live with. Because our landlord lives downstairs, I am searching for a fun but quiet and responsible person to sublet the place.
Utilities including internet, cable, phone, electricity and gas come to about $100/month. Please let me know if you are interested--no couples, females only please.
This is a perfect sublet for interns who are only in NYC for the summer or anyone new to New York who wants a place to stay while they search for permanent housing.
