Looking to sublet a large bedroom in Williamsburg from 16th June - 24th July. The room has two windows and gets very sunny during the day. It comes with a queen sized bed and a long work desk. I'm going to be in Berlin for the time, and am flexible give or take a few days on arrival and departure date. The cost of the room for the time will be $1,200 plus an $800 deposit that will be refunded to you on my return. I'm an artist and a writer and I work a lot from home. The apartment is very quiet in the daytime so you'll be able to sleep well and get your work done, too. We also have a kitchen and a large common room with a couch, coffee table, shelves, and so on. The place is a 3 bedroom with 2 additional roommates, one of which is a DJ and the other is a student of architecture. We prefer quiet, culturally inclined types, students, travelers and so on. Please send me some information about yourself, what you do, what you're doing in New York, some interests, and so on.

The neighborhood is fantastic, you'll be in Williamsburg proper, right on the corner of Lorimer and Grand St. There are several 24 hour places to get food minutes away, one 24 hour deli on the same block, laundry on the same block, L and G trains a 5 minute walk away (L stop is Lorimer, 2 out stops of Manhattan), the JMZ is a 10 minute walk away. There are countless bars in the neighborhood, some better than others, and lots of places to hang out and go dancing at on the weekends. Trains to Manhattan take about 15-20 minutes.
