ABOUT US:
We are a married couple, both in our 30's, laid back, and
working in the film industry. We (and our 3 friendly cats)
live in a new, sunny and spacious DUPLEX apartment in
Kensington, Brooklyn. We are looking for a clean,
responsible, and cat-friendly roommate for the SUMMER
MONTHS or possibly longer.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT:
Starting JUNE 1, we are offering one bedroom (10' by 11')
for $900 per month. The apartment is brand new, and very
big: three bedrooms (one is used as an office), an open
kitchen, dining room, and living room, two bathrooms, and
lots of outdoor space. The bedroom we're renting out gets
lots of light, especially in the afternoon, and has an ample
CLOSET. We can provide the room UNFURNISHED OR
PARTIALLY FURNISHED with a table (desk), pull-out sofabed,
and a small dresser. Rent cost INCLUDES UTILITES: wireless
internet, cable TV, and central AC.
Renter will have semi-exclusive use of the second bathroom,
as well as full access to both our BALCONY (ideal for smokers-
there's no smoking inside) and our huge & exclusive ROOF
DECK. The apartment comes with all the latest appliances,
including our own WASHER AND DRYER.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
We are convenient to both the F TRAIN (at Church) and the
Q (at Beverley), and are located just a few blocks from
PROSPECT PARK. Our neighborhood is very safe, and offers
many great groceries, drug stores and restaurants.
First month's rent plus last month's rent as deposit would
be expected on move-in. We'd prefer no more pets, but are
willing to discuss it.
