BUT ALSO, theres plenty of bbq'in to do, picnics on the great lawn, hiking on the back trails, biking, boating, dancing, (every sunday on the other side of the park there is an african festival-complete with drumming, dancing and food) sunbathing, ETC!!! Its great!!! If your not a hippie:), feel free to cruise the F-train (only two blocks away) into manhattan-only 20 minutes to the lower east side. But i'm telling you now, you won't want to leave this area! Everything you 'll ever need is all within a few blocks- cleaners, hair & nail salons, wine store, pharmacy, shops & boutiques, grocery, bars, live-music venues, restaurants (two of brooklyn's top-rated restaurants are only two blocks from the apartment! and the other 25 top Zagat-rated are in the neighborhood!)... There is plenty to do around here, but it is very tempting to do nothing but enjoy the scenery! The apartment is in a charming pre-war building, on a beautiful tree-lined street with brownstones and old-fashioned street lanterns. the area is very clean, quiet, & totally safe at all times. There is laundry facility in building.
The room available is private, sunny, and very beautiful--fit for a queen! It comes fully furnished with antique chair, mahogany desk & dresser, as well as a gorgeous queen four poster bed equipped with top-of-the-line tempurpedic mattress.
The two roommates you'd be sharing the apt with are extremely nice and easy-to get-along-with people. For being in their early twenties they are quite mature, respectful, have good senses of humor, and both work 9-5 jobs mon-fri. One is female, the other male.
