Wax Poetics Inc. is seeking motivated and creative interns to work across it's Magazine, Record Label, Book Publishing and Sales divisions.
We currently have open positions for our Marketing & PR department. Please read the candidate qualification details in this posting carefully:

A Wax Poetics internship has tremendous growth potential for the truly dedicated candidate who has a love for music, a willingness to learn, and the drive to contribute to a unique and growing brand.
Job requirements are:
- commitment to 2-3 days a week
- work 10:00am-6:00pm on confirmed days
- your own laptop
- a strong work ethic
- be resourceful
- be able to problem solve
- pay attention to details
- be able to work in a fast paced work environment
- be able to multitask
- be able to work out of our Brooklyn office
Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of digital music (websites & files)
- Strong knowledge and experience of social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook & Twitter.
- Web Development knowledge and experience is a BIG PLUS!
- Sales & Customer Service experience is a BIG PLUS!
Experience:
- A proven background in Marketing/Sales (Marketing & PR Internship)
- A proven background in Music (Record Label Internship)
- Qualifications, experience or current studies are vital to the position your are applying for - YOU MUST HIT THE GROUND RUNNING!
