Summary of Responsibilities:
Our Production SV is responsible for all activities to ensure smooth & efficient running of the production area, specifically Food Assembly and Tray Set Up, so as to provide the highest standard of service by controlling the liaison closely with the personnel in the relevant supply departments & our customers. The Production SV is additionally responsible for initiating special projects to improve the effectiveness & efficiency of the overall production and catering needs as well as the back up operations to fulfill the requirements of our customers¡¦ specific requirements and company¡¦s food safety standards. This is a fast pace environment that requires a hands on approach to catering needs. We are seeking a quick thinker and an effective decision maker.

Our Production SV will primarily supervise the Food Assembly and Tray Set Up, however on special occasions, our Production SV maybe required to assist to complete the flight. Our Production SV must be flexible and punctual according to the time of duty & leave the premise once duties are done and ability to work various shifts.
Responsibilities:
ľ Oversee the three (3) aspects of plating First Class, Business Class and Economy Class (F/C, B/C, EYC/C) Special Meals (SPML) and Salad Production.
ľ Maintains an accurate accounting of all (F/C & B/C) plates to assure the correct level of plated preparation-based on the daily flight logs. Maintains an accurate account of production to ensure correct packing levels, in addition to maintaining the quantified specifications of each individual companies Economy (EYC/C) salad production.
ľ Supervise and direct staff members to adhere to the individual specifications of each Company (F/C & B/C) menus.
ľ Assist Production Planner to Co-ordinate between shifts and staff levels the daily production goals.
ľ Communicates with Chefs of discrepancies so that additional food can be produced.
ľ Quantify and supervise the daily production.
ƒæ Work closely with the individual Account Managers in regards to their respective needs for (SPML¡¦s).
ƒæ Communicate with Executive Chef for the production level and needed/required items for all (SPML¡¦s).
ľ Attend daily Department meeting in conjunction with Executive Chef to discuss problems, and implement solutions.
ľ Assist Production Planner with all Company policy and enforcement of policy and procedure, safe guard operation against excessive overtime, breach of hygiene rules and assist with development of staff members.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must possess approximately three (3+ years) hands on experience within the catering branch, be team oriented with the ability to work independently, must act with a sense of urgency and posses the ability to co-ordinate all activities to ensure smooth and efficient running of the operation. Good written and oral communication skills are essential.
