Up for sale is a 2009 Fuji Absolute 2.0 hybrid in pearlized blue (19 inch). This is a top of the line hybrid/comfort bike. It was brought recently and ridden about 100 miles before I upgraded to a road bike. It is a great bike but I got an offer on a great road bike that I couldn't pass on so now I don't need this bike anymore. It looks brand new (because it is) and rides very smooth but has been sitting at home for the past 2 months. I also tuned it up recently in Bay ridge bikes so it is ready to go! What is an autobike, you ask? The bike has 5 gears and it auto shifts from one to the next based on centripetal force--there are sensors on the rear wheel that control the shifting. In other words, the faster you go, the higher the gear. The bike does it for you automatically, great for people who do not have much experience with multi-speed bikes.

Another great feature of this bike is that both wheels are bolted on, not quick release. That means you don't need to worry as much when locking it up outside. When you have quick release wheels, if you don't make sure they are chained up along with the frame they might not be there when you come back. But with these wheels it takes a lot longer to get them off, and you need the right tools. Most punks on the street wouldn't know how to take them off let alone take the time to try.

This is a good, solid bike. The automatic gear shift might be strange to some people, but I got used to it in a few days. I'm selling it because riding around Brooklyn is a little too scary for me. I tried it, I gave it a real shot, but all those cars are too much for me. But that doesn't mean someone else can't enjoy it!

For Sale is my New OLMO 54cm commuter bike. I recently bought the frame NOS, shipped from europe for 450 and equipped it with a new shimano 100bb, a nice campy record headset, a new brooks b17 saddle(not broken in, comes with proofide), new shimano sora brakes, all new lines, new origin 8 crankset with some shimano double sided entry pedals for easy entry. I have a long stem and riser bars on it to give an upright ride for commuting in traffic, but I also have other stems and some carbon fiber flat bars if you would rather ride in a traditional posture. Bike comes with a velocity deep V front wheel and Schwalbe Stelvio Kevlar tires. I have also installed a shimano nexus 7 speed wheel in the rear which gives you a nice reasonable range of gears, all nice and selfcontained from the elements with little to no maintenance. All work was done by my Local Bike Shop so there is no amateur garage mechanic shit here. I am going away for the winter and would like to see this go to someone who can use this bomb proof ride to get to work the way it was supposed to be done. If you dont like the pink and white stuff I have some other chainrings and chains you could have instead, but I think the pink and yellow set off this bike nicely and it is a very unique ride from what I usually saw in park slope and the village. Like I said earlier, all is new on this bike, the beautiful iridescent yellow frame was pricey by itself but is handmade of Columbus Gara Tubing and is built to last a lifetime. Bike has always lived inside and looks and rides like brand new. If you know what you are looking at and own a calculator you can figure out this is a great deal. I am a real person, not some mass poster or anything and I am looking to move this quickly, so email me with any questions and we can set something up and you can ride it away.

Thumb Shifters and a comfy gel seat.
The front tire and seat post have quick release. It has been garage/apartment kept its entire life, I don't think there is a speck of rust on it honestly. A few minor scratches all in all practically perfect. It has Shimano components which are all in excellent working order. The bike is barely ridden. I got it awhile back when I was living in Jersey and it moved here with me. I have a road bike that I love so I have to let this beauty go. It is a comforatble ride, and great for getting around Brooklyn and the city in general. Would say it is about 18 or a 19 inch frame step through, "girls" bike. The seat post is a decent length, my friend road it for a few days and he was 5'7. I am 5'4 and it suited me fine. I am the Original and only owner of this bike. Well I am an annonymous person who happens to be into biking very much, although I'm not in the industry anymore (use to be a pedicab driver)...Now I just bike to and from work (only about 18 miles a day)...but you should be warned about "by the ferry, Paul in Astoria, James in Brklyn" because these guys are doing this for their living or anyone else that constantly posts, I know for a fact that James is a professional stolen bike distributer (although his prices seem to be kinda fair) you know he probably stole one of your bikes...well i'm sure i've missed some other professional engineer bike distributers but you get the hint...my best advice to all the potenial buyers is target the white "hey i want to ride a bike then use it for a coat hanger" people who really come down on their price when they post...ie: over the past 6 months timeframe i bought a giant accupolco (sp?) for $50 from some guy in the city and it was a good bike but it was an older model, i put a little money into it (slick tires $40, and adjusted derailer cables $10) and ended up selling the bike for $120 cause i felt it was worth that price, anyway then i bought a Gary Fisher Marlin that I just fell in love with for $100, but unfortunatly the bike was a little to small for me, so I'm giving it to my father for a xmas present (bike could probably be sold for $200 on cl, but not selling), then I bought a Trek 820 from a guy out on LI for $40 (he posted for $80), but i felt when purchasing i'd have to put money into it so I said $40 and he accepted (this is my current bike right now and I had to fix the crank housing $45) and i see this bike lasting 2 good years, and my last purchase was a Nishiki Bravo for $45 for my friend for xmas...So basically I'm saying that if you're looking for a bike, you should 1) not buy from a business guy (he know's the value and you're probably getting ripped off) 2) Don't be in such a hurry to buy unless you did your research on the bike 3) buy from the coat hanger people (usually white~no offense) 4) figure out if you need to put any more money into the bike

I bought this beauty two years ago from the original owner. This bike has never been raced and is in immaculate condition. The most noticeable flaws are the scratches on the right blade of the fork. I was told that these were made by being mounted on a car rack incorrectly. The chrome revealed by the scratches is in excellent condition, only the paint was damaged. Also, the front brake caliper has a damaged quick release lever as seen in the photos. The brakes function perfectly, despite this. There are NO dings or dents in this bright red racer and all the decals are perfect! The bike will be sold minus tires and pedals, but includes the Zefal frame pump. It folds up very easily (I'll be happy to show you how), it only has one gear but it's perfectly suited for flat or uphill, and it has a rear peddle break with a front wheel "grip break" as well. The tires will need air, but other than that it's ready to ride. I'm selling it for $125 O.B.O. I'm selling a blue Raleigh Super Grand Prix because it's just too big for me. Also there's a minor problem with the back tire or wheel. I believe that the tire is just not aligned well on the wheel. If that isn't the case, then the back wheel is probably in need of replacing. I would look further into it myself but I'm really not bike savvy and as I mentioned, it's too big for me anyway. I have a fixed-gear BMX bike for sale in the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn. Delivery can POSSIBLY be arranged, depending on distance and circumstances.

I don't know how you measure a bike so if you need specific measurements I'll be more than happy to take them for you. From the top of the seat to the ground, it's a little over 3 feet, or 36".

For comparison's sake, I am kind of tall at 6'2 and I can ride this bike very comfortably.

There is nothing wrong with the bike. I am moving and can't take it so it needs to go. Also, the place I bought it from said they do free brake service for life on all of the bikes they sell.

Did I mention the bike lock comes with it? It is an OnGuard bike lock, which the people at the shop told me is supposed to be the most secure bike lock out there. It's yours, free. I originally bought it for $40.

Trek 620 Touring Bike, 53cm, Reynolds 531, SUPER CLEAN (Park Slope nr. 4th/Atlantic) $600

For sale is my Trek 620 Touring bike in like new condition. This bike was rarely ridden and was stored for the past several years.

The frame is full butted Reynolds 531c tubing, extremely light, especially for a touring bike. It has rack eyelets and loaded touring geometry, and rides and shifts very smoothly, even loaded. It's a great all-purpose bike for touring, commuting, or longer rides. I love it and wish I could keep it, but I've only ridden it twice realized it's too small for me.

Measurements are 53cm center-to-top of seattube, and 54cm toptube.

They were only made from 1983-85, and the 620 is one model up from the highly-collectible 520. It has the longer 45.5cm chainstays for better handling when loaded.

This bike has not been locked up, and was ridden rarely. There is barely a nick or scratch on this thing, and the paint still sparkles. All components are original (Suntour Cyclone, SR, Avocet) except for the wheels, which have been upgraded. Typically these bikes came with 27" wheels, but this has a good set of Shimano hubs to 700c rims (Araya front, Campy rear). I'll include a matching rear tire in the sale.
