Hello!

I have a lovely mountain bike for sale - a Gary Fisher Mako. The frame is 16" and is very comfortable for my 5'7'' height, but the seat can be adjusted easily. Its a sturdy bike, which has very little wear and tear. I bought it new about a year ago for $300 and have only ridden it 20-30 times. (I was abroad for 6 months and it sat inside my apartment being unused.)

It handles the bumpy roads of Brooklyn and Manhattan very well and has 21 speeds, which are smooth and easy to shift. The seat is recently replaced, but other than that every part is Gary Fisher designed. Easy to lift and store, and very fun to ride. Great bike if you're planning on riding all winter - the tires are great in poor conditions.

This is going to be an incredibly great deal for the right person. If you're an experienced cyclist who's been out of the game for awhile and looking to jump back in I'm your guy. You could spend a $1,000 on just the extra stuff I'm throwing in easily. Fondriest Carb-Level Bike for sale. One of the best alu/carbon frames ever made. Same basic frame raced by Lampre in the 2003 Giro and Tour de France. It's kick ass, if you don't know Fondriest please google them. Roadbikereview has 23 different owner reviews for a cumulative rating of 4.83 out of 5. http://www.roadbikereview.com/cat/frames-and-forks/frames/PLS_2493_700crx.aspx. So we're talking colnago territory in terms of quality. It's a size 54cm semi-sloping top tube which gives it a 55cm virtual TT length. I'm 5'9" w/ about a 31.5" inseam and it fits me perfectly. It' will probably work for you if you are w/in a couple inches of those measurements, closer obviously better.

It's a 9-speed w/ DA shifters and cranks. The deraillers and brakes are Ultegra. Shifts very well, replaced all the cables and housing this summer. I'm giving 3 and a 1/2 wheels w/ the bike (explanation to follow): 1 set of Ritchey Aero Road wheels. OCR rims and Salsa titanium skewers. 1 set of Mavic Ksyriums. Front wheel in perfect condition but the rear wheel has a bearing issue and needs to be repaired. So three hoops that work great and one that needs some help. If it's just the bearings that need replacement it's going to run like $40-50 tops. Which would definitely be worth it because these babies rock. If it's not the bearings then it will probably have to go back to Mavic for a rebuild which would probably cost around $200 which might be worth it to you I don't know. You'll have to take it to a qualified shop and see what they say.

I have a very clean 2005 (early 2006) Bianchi Volpe, 49cm, all stock except tires. A real beauty. There are a few paint scuffs on the frame, mostly signs of storage, not use. The bike needs nothing - adjust the seat height and go.
Bianchi Volpe is the most versatile bike I ever used. With slick narrow tires it is a fast racing bike, with fat knobby tires it can go off road - either way you get a comfortable ride of a quality steel bike. This model is very sturdy - it has 36-spoke wheels that can accommodate many tire sizes, steel frame and fork, cantilever brakes, wide-range 27 speed gears, STI shifters and suspension seat. I tried many bikes - from light road to heavy hybrids and at the end stayed with the Volpes. I have 3 of them, and one has to go.

I bought this swift from Peter Roberti Through Recycle a Bicycle (He is the creator of the swift) and I ended up with a front derailleur hanger (I believe I was the first in the US to have one) testing it for him. I have here a 16" PV Glider Go-Glide balance bike. This thing is super light, has a hand brake and kickstand, and a footrest. It's a fantastic way for kids (5-7 or so) to learn to ride a bike! My son had a smaller wooden one which he rode all over town. It literally took him an hour to ride a 2 wheel pedal bike-no training wheels ever!

It's in like new condition-hardly used, and the list price on Amazon is $140! Check it out on Amazon-there's a good video of the bike in action!
