This easel is about two years old...in excellent condition. I no longer need it because I recently got a much larger easel as a gift and I do not use the multimedia capabilities of this one. I made some minor adjustments to this easel so that it works better - eg. I replaced two screws with bolt and nuts and pasted a wooden straight-edge on the top canvas holder to keep the canvas in a more stable position.
This is for pickup in Coram,Long Island or Port Washington, Long Island only. Please do not ask me to bring this to New York City or elsewhere - sorry.

This original Archipenko print is from GENIUS: Zeitschrift f�r Werdende und Alte Kunst. This art and literary project only lasted three years, but had incredible influence on German art and culture between the Wars. Some of the important artists contributing original prints included: Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Erich Heckel, Frans Masereel, Max Kaus, Karl Hofer, Alexander Archipenko, and others. Size is 16 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches (sheet). There is poetry text (composed by Walasse Ting) on verso, as issued.

Provenance: This original Mel Ramos lithograph is from the famous "1 Cent Life" book/portfolio, published in 1964 by E. W. Kornfeld, in a limited edition of 2000. The lithography was executed by Maurice Beaudet, of Paris. This is the original vintage 1964 litho, not a later reprint or copy.

1 Cent Life was a monumental undertaking-- a revolutionary Pop Art and poetry project organized by Walasse Ting and Sam Francis. From Marc Chagall's famous "Dead Souls" suite of etchings, executed and printed in the 1920's for Ambroise Vollard. This is a gorgeous rare vintage Victorian "foil" art piece! It is framed in a beautiful white shabby chic frame! This foil technique is amazing! The piece was first drawn on glass and then tinted pieces of foil were used to color it in! It's so pretty! And it's the perfect piece for a room where steam or moisture is an issue - I just saw a magazine layout on that!

The piece measures 15" long by 12.5" in diameter and the frame is 3" thick. The frame is white (cream) and has thick appliqued rosettes and a tiny gold border. This piece was purchased at an estate sale and is in excellent vintage condition. Have something that is truly a rare and old art form in your home!

Beautiful print of a "hamsa" -- the classic Middle Eastern symbol of hospitality -- with gold embossing. Jerusalem's Old City is depicted in the center, encircled with roses and other symbols. (These photos don't do justice to its level of detail!) There is a sticker on the back certifying that it was made in Israel.

This print was brought back from a trip to Jerusalem about ten years ago. I am very sorry to part with it, but no longer have room in my house for it. I'm asking $54 for it, complete with matting and frame, but will consider all reasonable offers. I could meet you in Manhattan (NYU area is most convenient) or Riverdale.
